Well, the whole baseball bat to the leg thing is still going on. I am going to call on Monday if the pain is still happening to try to get in to the doc before I leave for Baltimore on Oct 9th. I have a lot of walking to do while I am gone so I have to be feeling better by then. The area where the pain is happening in the thigh is discolored so I don't know if that still a nerve thing or if this is different.
On a separate topic, Armstrong went to the vet today for more urinary issues. It has been 7 months since he was "replumbed", which makes this the longest he has gone without the vet in 3 years. He has been showing signs of either a stone or an infection for a week or so so it was time to take him in. The ultrasound showed what looks like a stone, but when the ultrasound was on him while standing it didn't show as well so maybe it isn't a stone. The catheter also didn't feel gritty according to the vet so that is good. He is on antibiotics for 10 days as a precaution since his urine test results aren't in yet. Hopefully the straining and the blood are just an infection. The replumbing is definitely doing its job- even if it is stones he is still able to go to the bathroom which was the whole goal of the surgery. Well, that is all of the exciting news for the day. I will post on Monday when I hear from the doc.
