The day after- water therapy

Well, I did about 250 yards of jogging in the pool yesterday with a floatation belt on and it felt so good. I couldn't believe how much it felt like my hip and knee were loosened up after doing the jogging. I purposely kept it short so I wouldn't have a lot of pain, and I think I did a good job of it. I have some new bruising around the incision, but other than that I feel good. I didn't even need to take any painkillers last night so that is a plus. I am going to get in the pool again today so hopefully it feels good after that also. I have to keep it short because tonight Ripken goes back to agility training class so I can't be too sore. My trainer is going to run him, but I have to be able to drive there and back and I can't let myself be sore before I drive. Well, all in all, I am still moving forward really well. I am glad I am finally able to do something to start the rehab process, and only 2 more weeks on crutches.

Just go easy, easy, easy and don't rush things. About you waking up every morning sore and stiff ... get used to it because that's what the 60's are all about.
